How to use the fixtures calendar

This calendar shows official Pitch & Putt fixtures across Ireland, with powerful filters to help you find the events that matter to you.

View modes

List View: scroll through all fixtures chronologically, grouped by month.
Month View: see fixtures on a calendar grid. Click any day to view all fixtures scheduled for that date. Days with championship events show a gold indicator dot.

Filters & search

Search Bar: type part of an event name, club, or competition (e.g. "Scratch Cup", "Tralee").
Month/County/Type: use the dropdowns and checkboxes to focus on specific months, counties, or event types.
Province: click Munster, Leinster, or National chips to filter fixtures by region.
Major/Ladies Switches: toggle these to show only championship events or Ladies-specific majors.
Reset Filters: clear all active filters and return to viewing all fixtures.

Understanding fixture cards

Colour & borders: coloured borders reflect county (e.g. Cork red/white, Kerry green/gold). Championship events have special gold, silver, or bronze ring borders.
Badges: "National", "Munster", "Leinster", "County" and "Major" badges highlight the event level and importance.
County chip: small coloured badges show the host county in traditional GAA colours.
Multi-venue events: some competitions span multiple counties or courses—click "Show County Venues" to expand the full list.

Quick actions

Map icon: click the red pin icon next to any venue to open its location in Google Maps for directions.
Add to Calendar: click this button on any fixture card to download an .ics file that adds the event to your phone or computer calendar app.
Add selection to calendar: export all currently filtered fixtures as a single calendar file (great for planning your season).

Tips

Combine multiple filters (e.g. Munster + Provincial + Scratch Cup) to narrow down to just the events you're interested in playing.
Use Month View to quickly spot busy weekends or gaps in the schedule.
Switch between Light and Dark modes using the theme toggle button for comfortable viewing day or night.
